I got the Anniversary DVD of Jaws and, while it's great to see this film in all its audio/visual glory, I was dissapointed a little at the features.
The outtakes and cut scenes were interesting but the Documentary I thought was distinctly lacking. BBC2 had a Jaws night a year or two back and the documentary they did (using several of the same interview sources) was a lot more in depth and revelatory than the documentary on the DVD.
However, my main gripe was the lack of a commentary from Spielberg on movie. As far as extra features go I tend to find the commentary's the most interesting and insightful. 'Making of' shows tend to be little more than promotional material but a commentary is often a lot more honest about the film-making procedure. Given Spielberg's ambivalence regarding directing Jaws it would have been a fascinating addition and the topping to an excellent DVD.
