Why has the WPCSA Rookie Beta 7 Counter Strike Server no longer openplay? Dont you WP peeps know that some people have free internet acces NOT using BT or WP Direct? :mad::angry::mad::angry::mad::angry::mad::angry::mad::angry:

At the moment a lot of servers are being transfered from
wireplay 2 to the wireplay 3 servers, which are accessable to all.
It should be completed shortly.

Well I use WP3 and I can no longer get into the WPCSA CS Rookies server! I wanna get in for todays lesson @ 8:00

is it that u cant see the rookie server in the server lists in wp3, or that u can see it and cant get into it?

I can see it, but OpenPlay is not ticked and so I cant get in unless i use Wireplay Direct, which, with all due respect, IS NOT BLOODY FREE!

there isnt much i can do about that, i'm afraid, but i shall enquire with the powers that be why this isn't an openplay server, and will let you know what i find out..

the answer to your question is:

It is restricted in this way becuase otherwise the server becomes swamped from players worldwide (not usually rookies). It needs to be kept this way so that admins can arrange matches to teach rookies. When WP3 is released
it will be password protected.


.....so, until wp3 is released, its a powerplay server.
