out of all of these AA is the only one that still works
all of the others work for a bout five mins and then freezes. no keyboard commands work and the system hangs compleatly i then have to re-start and wait for scan disk :(
i thought it was due to bad drivers for my graphics card so i changed back to old ones with no effect.
then i thought it was my soundcard drives and i changed them to old ones. this fixed the porb temparerily but the prob has come back.
i dont really want to re-install windows but if y'all think thats the best thing to do ill go for it
if n e 1 can come up with better suggestions than that they will be praised more than the re-install idea however re-install idea will be prasied if it is the only suggestion
cheers all

Reinstalling windows does'nt take that long and does need
to be done every so often or else your system just gets
bogged down in rubbish that it collects over time.

Two things to do...
1 : When you reinstalled your drivers did you remove them in safe mode ,(in normal mode you cannot always see all the drivers present in device manager, and are they the latest drivers).
Clear everything you know doesnt belong there and restart.
The system should then redetect the hardware and ask for the drivers.

2: If you decide to reinstall windows make sure none of the
associated programs will lose any of your fav settings (unlikley but make sure it dont).
Also before you reinstall get all the updated drivers for you system in one file on the hard drive (IE: c:\drivers)
so when it restarts and asks for the drivers for certain
bits of equipment then you know where to direct it.
