Vagrant Story, FF beater?

Yes yes, I'm sure anyone that's got a Ps and has played FF7&8 on it MUST have played this game, it's amazing, smooth graphics,The best battle system I've seen in a while,A dodgy storyline that no one understands, Still you should definently get this game.

Is it an FF beater though, Both games (FF & VS) are made by Squaresoft.In FF you can just run around for donkeys and fight hundreds of pitiful monsters(This is shown out a lot in FF8)Where as in VS you only gain stat's up(HP, MP, STR, INT, etc) when you beat a boss.

In FF7 theres a great storyline and I still play that game to this day.FF8 lacks in storyline but is still a good game.
VS storyline is too complicated for me.I don't quite get what's going on.

And so on...........

I could go on for a while, but don't tell me th ending to Vagrant Story, I haven't completed it yet.(I don't own the game, I've rented it 3 times though)

Um...not an FF7 beater, but beats FF8 hands-down. Clear? :)

From what little I've seen of Parasite Eve 2 (also by Square I beleive :E ) it beats Final Fantasy 8 AND Vagrant story, the combat system is the best I have seen and the story doesn't look to scrappy either :E

Well if it is like Resident evil FF is much better.

FF9 will be better than any others.

BTW has anyone played In Cold Blood, and what do you think of it?

VS is definitely a very good game. Whether it's better than FF, though, is another matter.

The only reason Parasite Eve 2 looks like resident evil is because it uses the same graphical style, the fight system is pretty much the same as in FF but in complete real time and you actually fight in the world instead of going to a different screen, it makes it pretty good and the fight with the spider robot at the beginning of FF8 would have been so much better if you could have been constantly fighting or running away instead of it being split up into seperate sections ;)

Basically, Parasite Eve is cool ;)
