anyone know if old comics are worth anything?

ive got a load of old 2000ad from me youth many of them in great condition in protective wrappers.
also ive got loads of MAD magazines as well
and where could i sell em if they are?

Not worth masses compared to US stuff but many independent stores would take them off you. I think 2000AD #1 is only selling for around £35 tops.
Don't know about MAD though... :E

Well i got a First Edition (signed) copy of Dark Knight Returns which is worth loads :E and a few Signed Manga Comics which r worh a few Bob as well :):):)
