OMG i felt a bit ill when i heard. Well anyway i am paying my respect to the marshal hit by a tire and killed today in italy at the grand prix.

yes m8, that was very sad news. so i am paying my respects and hope that the people in charge can come up with a safer way for marshals to their job.
if those tethered wheels did theyre job it shouldnt have happened

The tethers can withstand 5 tonnes of force, so to see those wheels flying about like that just shows the amount of forces that go on during a big accident. Rest assured it would probably have been worse if there where no tethers at all.
