PC wont power up

Hello got a few probs with my PC i turn it on and all i get is a blank screen as it wont cmoe on and the PC keeps makeing the nose as though its trying to power up ??? any one got nay ideas why this could be

What kind of nose.. eh noise (reminds me of Allo Allo :E ) is it making, a series of beeps like morse code?, if so whats the Motherboard make and model and what series of beeps as these are what helps you identify hardware problems on booting up.

If it's the fan and HD clicking away with no screen then check everythings plugged in and especially that the vga card is seated properly, also you sure your screen hasn't died?

You tried overclocking didn't you? Lots of times it's a video card problem when you try to boot and the screen stays blank. If there are no beeps at all then it's vid card. Try setting the BUS/CLOCK speeds back to the defaults or auto and restart.

not quite true m8. When my vid card werent in right it still made beeps :wink:

check the ram is seated correctly, thats happened to meh :)
