Asus motherboards have a very good reputation. http://www.tomshardware.com recently revisited an Asus super socket7 motherboard and gave it a good review.

I have also had several MSI (microstar) m/b's and found them very good, they tend to be cheeper than the equivalent Asus products.

Not sure whether they have a socket 7 board out but Abit are the best mobo ppl IMHO :E

Rigo - funny you should say that about Abit m/b's because the 2 most unstable motherboards I have ever had were both Abit's. :)

They used to be unstable but the mobos they make now are great.
I would get an Asus super socket 7 board, as the Abit board would most likely have been made when they were somewhat unstable as its an old mobo.
Most K6-2 mobos will be less stable than ones with other chipsets as the chipset wasn't really designed to run with some of the stuff they got on them, they were just "bolted on" to keep them from having to making a new chipset.
