ADSL: 500 emails sent out. Who got one?

At 10am this morning 500 emails were sent out. I was assured of this (hmmm). Has anyone recieved one?

Also the BT Biatch let slip that they only had 12 peple able to take orders....so even when we have the email, we probably won't be able to get thru to book installation.

At this rate of 500 a day, it will take 2/3 od a year to send them all out. Ho Hum...lets all settle down for some more waiting.

I sent an enquiry to BT regarding the major lack of Invitation E-mails in my inbox, this was the reply:

I am afraid that there have been some temporary delays with our installations. There are no new installations happening at present due to fuel shortages and this restricting engineers visits.

If you don't hear shortly please contact our Order Management desk on 0800 1698639 who should be able to give you a timescale.

Didn't quite answer the question, but the phone number should be usefull :)

yep this fule shortage is getting silly :) local schools going to close end of week cos the staff cant get in lol. so im not supirsed

Yay! had some success I think... my line has been tested for ADSL compatability apparently and has come back with go ahead to install ADSL. I should hear within the next ten days to arrange the installation. :burp:
