Noooooo!!!! I was afraid of this :( I'm on HH so I'm gonna get stung....again :( I bet the small print said that the free bit was 'only' for analogue lines :( still its not winning BT any Brownie points.
I still have to have ADSL anyway, and BT now seems to have found another way to offset there 'Free' installation costs :( Or is this to make HH users think twice? to keep BT's profits up? We were paying through the nose for HH anyway :(
My phone bill will drop dramatically on adsl from HH, this is probably whats hurting BT?
Steve
Well as far as I'm concerned I have a contractual agreement with BT and in law they have to honour that agreement or pay compensation. Luckily I have proof of this agreement by email. Anyone else who has entered into the same contract should also stick to their guns and contact Trading Standards if necessary.
Any agreement, whether verbal, written or email is a contract between two parties entered into by law.
Hades.
I'm not a 100% sure an email is proof of written contract in a court of law.
As there are no signatures, and I think it is quite difficult to prove where an e mail came from.
As I said I dont know the legal system in this country but I would investigate further...............
