Thanks m8 from all the crew....who by the way are playing CS rather than doing this assignment... taking the "test what you know" theory a bit to far... :)
Hi there,
Well, heres what i got...and the dude knows his stuff !!
difficult to answer that exactly (see later on)
well assuming it was one of our servers, through dialup only, and the
maximum connect speed was isdn (64k/bits sec) then 16 x 64 = 1Mbit/s
in a second, using a 1Mbit/s link, you will transfer 128Kbytes of data, so
multiply that by 60 for the whole minute.... 7680Kbytes or 7.5MBytes every
minute or, 450MBytes worth of data in an hour...
so the "average bandwidth" used in an hour is 1MBit/s, total data
transferred would be 450MBytes... i think :)
if you assume that the servers are open on the internet, then the rate at
which data is sent could be anything... so, i'm sorry to say, the answer
would be quite high... :)
hope this helps m8 !!
regards,
Padstar. :)

Ah now its started...they've had to go to the off'y for a re-supply (could be a long night)
err hum /clears throat
is the transfer constant..?(does it transfer 64k all the time)theres some theory about its not, something to do with packets.
well anyway I say its quite alot but think that maybe not a constant through put..(normaly I'm wrong)
