atm im on a 56K, with 150-200 pings. anything sub 100 would be like a dream to me. and decent d/l speeeds. also the fact that it only costs £20 for 24/7 accesse would help a lot.


am i missing something, or should i jump at this?


becuase im all ready to jump (and they say takes 5 days for installation woooo :eek: )

opinions, rember, the way i see it £20 a month for 24/7 is exellent, so what the pings like? anything sub 100 is worth it for me anythign sub 50 and i cant wait

telewest / blueyonder cable modem costs £50 to install and £33/month for 24/7 access

download speeds are frequently up around the 60k/second mark (can get higher)

ping is generally around 30

thing is though, they are upgrading their systems atm and so you wont see a vast ping improvement until they have finished (end of next month)

I have had a CM for a few weeks now and I definetly recommend it. Although they are upgrading at the moment I am still getting pings between 24-100 depending on the server. Using the blueyonder Q3 servers is never above 50. I downloaded Strike force for UT which is 104 mb and it took 45 mins whilst I was playing Q3 and getting pings of 80 and below. Get it now
