Petrol where will you buy yours?

Well I must say I wasn't suprised when yet again after the majority of the blockades were called off that the major companies upped the prices by 2p a litre on petrol & 4p a ltr on diesel.
All the major companies
Esso, BP, total, ammoco, etc all put up their prices.
Only one company has said thA they will not raise prices till they have sorted their selves out & that company is shell!
Guess where I shall be buying my petrol? certainly not at any of the places that have yet again kicked us all in the teeth I'll give my custom to Shell.
I think it's about time that the government brought out a law to stop the petrol companies hiking prices it's as if they didn't want the blockades to stop!
Do they honestly think were stupid & don't realise we know what their game is?

Why d'ya think they didn't go past the blockades? These are big burly truckers who can eat a double fried brekkie, a bucket of tea and a Yorkie in one go not ballet dancers, no way were they scared. The oil companies deliberately kept back the gas knowing they could make a nice buck and that the motorists would pay up cos they'd be so pleased to get even a sniff of petrol. The oil companies also have large fleets of trucks and had a vested interest themselves in this dispute and could only gain if tax was reduced. As it wouldn't come out of their pockets they had nothing to lose. So now we have a 2p rise per ltr that is sheer profiteering.
Mr Blair could certainly have handled this better but we are now seeing who the real villains are, at least governments raise tax for all our benefits not just to line the pockets of greedy large corporate shareholders.

Nice protest guys we still got the tax AND now we got a price increase!!!

I bet the French are killing themselves laughing, fair play to 'em, they stitched us up a treat (salutes Johhnie Frog).

I'll buy my petrol in France, lol.
