voting scripts:
1)could prob download a cgi one from sonewhere for nothing?
2)code one yourself
or
3)get someone else to code one for you

no's 2 & 3 really depend what server you have and the scripting languages it supports.

random quote script:
loads of diff ways of doing this, up to you which you prefer, javascript is a simple method of doing this, could use asp cgi etc.
also would you be after set quotes to be randomly shown? or would u be using a database and adding quotes and want them randomly picked?
