To be honest Man United have done very well considering their poor forward line. Ok dont shout :) But lets face it, if we compare to the best teams in Europe.

Sheringham: Nothing needs to be said. Decent in the air, getting old though and not at his best.
Cole: Capable of good play and good goads, but hes a 1 in 3 or 4 (at best) and thats not good enough standard.
York: Again has good link up play, good on the ball, not a poacher like Cole but hes 1 in 3 man too.
Solskjaer: I think hes the best out of the 4 but never seems to get the shout.

If ManUtd got a top quality striker that can go past defenders and go rid of the neville brothers who are woeful they would be a major contender for Euro honours. To be honest Fergie has dont bloody good to get as much out of his team as he has considering the massive drag factor of a few players.

Fergie has always been able to do that where ever he goes.

He did well with his short term at East Stirlingshire (where he started management I may add :E), he brought success to St Mirren and of course Aberdeen with players football critics thought wouldn't be able to do anything.

He's a top man. :wink:
