ISDN ?

I dont know much about ISDN but can u answer these questions.

1. What do i have to do to get ISDN
2. Im using Freeserve 24/7 , will i get a 64k connection or a 128k connection.
3. How much is it with bt and other company's
4. Cause i live in S.Wales (15miles away from cardiff) does this matter like ADSL ?

1, go to http://www.bt.com/homehighway
2, youll definatly get 64K, i dint use freeserve so i dont know if it 128K enabled try http://www.net4nowt.com they tell you!:E
3, with bt its £40 a month and ith bt together package it costs £40.50 to install, without sumit like £100 just over

ive just had ISDN put in, 10 mins ago:E VERY fast compared to modems:E

him8, im getting mine installed this week with a bit of luck, so as far as aware this is what you need to do.

1 place your order for isdn with bt.
2 Get yourself an isdn card for the pci slot as the bt speedway card is generally regarded as v.poor for gaming; the card to get is the asustek pci which is available from http://www.scan.co.uk by mail order. It costs £25 quid
3Install card and let bt know u dont need the speedway card.
4Hold tight and wait for the knock on the door.
5Freeserve as far as im aware does not support dual channel isdn, but im with madasafish timezone 24/7 and they do support it so theres an option for you; that service is live already so jus head to their webby if ur interested, http://www.madasafish.net, hope that helps, kalimera.........

Cheerz glad i could help. As to the mri card dont get it as theyrenothing like as good as the aformnetioned card and usually mri products come with a heavy dose of driver probs,(mr modem anyone?, lol!). So steer well clear m8, hope i helped kalimera.........
