A little help please

this may be a stupid question....

on the front of my VCR it says NTSC playback

does that mean i can watch import vids (i mean anime)

like i said it may be a very obvious question but i like to make sure :)

yup, that does mean you can play NTSC (the US and japan use NTSC playback) videos. of course as long as you tv supports ntsc

I don't think it makes a difference .... I bought KITE from the U.S. to play on my NSTC video recorder and it runs fine. I didn't bother to check if my T.V was compatable at the time so I don't think it matters.

I think the video recorder has convert the NTSC to PAL for it to work. So a PAL cable between video and T.V. should be fine.
