Well we have all got our dates from BT(mine is Oct 4th)
but is this the proposed date that an engineer will install it in my house? will I be up and running that evening?
I cant help but think it is all gonna go wrong, God knows why, after all its BT.

The only fack up BT made with me is they didn't send the software CD in time, so I had to wait a whole day! :bigcry:
But the installation went smoothly, the line all worked properly (and the engineer has to test it before he leaves on his own laptop), but they left me to my own devices in connecting the pc to it; no probs though if you have the slightest idea about pc's.

If your CD ain't arrived a day or so before your installation, then phone 'em and moan :P The CD includes your username and password, so you need it to connect.

my cd didn't arrive either even tho i phoned them 4 days before and they confirmed it had been sent out. One quick call to the helpline and they gave me the info i needed but told me i needed the software...I didn't :) with the username and password and help of a mate who had it installed the day before me i was up and running in no time

dont worry Bt would have sent it out exstra early this time so your CD will be waiting with you for the enginer oh no it wont cos royal mail will have lost it :P

Is it me or they only lose the important things like pay cheques and also always drop it if it says FRAGILE grr.

but yeah cd will ariev well after i think. :/ i think persoanlly they dont send it out till the day of the install.

Well they've lost Dues Ex from Game Play, and a DVD in the past six months here.

Although the DVD (recorded delivery) did turn up about 3 weeks ago (2 months after I ordered it), so there's still hope for Dues Ex.


BTW Gameplay sent out a replacement after a week :D

I have a nasty feeling that come installation day they will deny all knowledge - particularly sice I completed my signup online. :(
