Fist of the North Star - back "tonight"

Hello everybody

Just to let those of you who wondered what exactly happened to FotNS, that it'll be back "tonight". Why the quotations? Because it's on at 04.45. That's quarter to five tonight or tomorrow morning, dependinng on how you look at it.

It's not as bad as it might sound though. It's a veritable Anime fest - at 3am there's Manga Erotica (what I believe to be a documentary style look at sex in anime), after is Shadow Skill at 03.30 and then Fist of the North Star continues at 04.45.

I'll be setting my video (I got next week off so I should be able to catch up on those things i've had taped for me AND watch my GitS DVD - boo hiss to the lip sync problems :( )

I was so eager to point out the same fact that I nearly posted a new topic myself:-

It's interesting/funny that there is only 15 minutes between FotNS and Countdown. Those dodgy C4 schedulers!
Perhaps the film short is there because they considered it could be too much of an incite to violence putting the 2 programmes back-to-back.
One stylising and promoting violence so much, and another presented by such an annoying/irritating guy, so worthy of having said violence inflicted upon him!

Imagine the 7-second thumbs on Mr.Madely(!):-

I was just kiddin around y'know.
But honestly yeah, when u were a kid didn't u used 2 watch progs and play around with ur friends prettending to be chara's from it, trying to do the moves and all. I mean 4 me and my friends it was turtles(the mutant ninja/hero kind).
I was just thinking along those lines.

I watched the documentary - that was mildly interesting and I watched the first 20 minutes or so of the film (I forget it's name, Shadow Skill or something) didn't really interest me much at all. It didn't grab me and will probably be a struggle to watch... still it could get better

Basically shadow skill the moive was the TV series that manga put out in a movie cos there wasnt demmand for the series :)

The documentary was odd with that woman saying its all rap its EVIL EVILLLLL!!! RAPE EVILL your All EVILLLLL ??? mad woman and it made perfect blue seem like some sordid sex sleazy film :( intersting how when it said that women seems to be uless powerless instruments of rape when tlaking about perfect blue they didnt show the real attempted rape where she takes a hammer and smashes his head in ??? she didnt see to defenceless and weak.

intreasting but painted in the end a bad pictrue of anime slightly :(.

FotNS seems to have missed 1 episode out or did i just miss that on tv oh well i stayed up hmm i think ill go lie down now :)
