Gone horribly silent in here again.

for those of you interested Firaxis are celebrating their birthday and are having a competition. Not really had time to check it out, but head over to http://www.firaxis.com to see what the supposed fuss is all about.

Apologies for rustling your tumbleweeds post :E But I was just wondering if you know any good sites for Civ III info. I had a look at the Firaxis site, but their Civ III stuff ain't been updated since Febuary :{

I've been struggling to find anything about CivIII it all seems hush hush atm. I'll take a look around the web and see if I can find anything tho.

Wish me luck :)

Thanks GG, To be honest I'm just trying to reassure myself that Civ IIIs gonna be good. I played Civ II more than any other game and had such high hopes for AC. Then when it came out I just found it really dificult to relate to and enjoy :{

Anyway from what little I've heard of Civ III it's looking good, all the different multi-player options look good as well.

yeah, its much more easy to relate to the historical civ II rather than Ac becauses everything seems strange and its hard to remeber what tech does what.

Plus I much prefer the classic civ look to AC's futuristic blackness.
We still havn't got the 'perfect' civ incarnation yet so lets hope this is it. Wonder how the dino game is comming along.

Although AC had it's faults, it did have some big pluses which I hope make an appearance in Civ III, like the different groups (or races in Civ) being far more unique, each with distinct strengths and weaknesses. I also liked the look of the planets terrain, just a shame about the colour scheme.

...and it'll be nice getting back to 'real' wonders. I wonder what new ones there'll be.

Is this forum always this quite by the way?
