help with win ME and SIDEWINDER PAD

Can anyone tell me why my sidewinder pad will not work with win ME

It just doesnt acknowledge that the pad is connected even though the green light on the pad is on???


It worked with win 98 but now i cant seem to get it working

Does anyone know why

see if their are any updated drivers for it or maybe windows me installed some newer drivers over the top but they aren't the correct ones
and is it a usb one or a gameport one ?

tried MS site, no joy there as no new drivers are releashed for gamepads aTM


the port is the one coming from the soundcard :(

Try reinstalling the sidewinder software you got with the gamepad.
