I want to put an image on a CD and a copy of ghost and then be able to put the CD in a machine and boot up straight into Ghost. My PC's support bootable CD's, this would save me having to first use a bootable floppy disk with the DOS cd drivers on.

Thanks in advance guys

Sorry for the late reply, but then again this is the first time ive posted anything to the wireplay forums since they were changed to the gameplay forums, so i think its pretty quick really :)

The CD needs to be burnt in ISO9660 format, not JOLIET. There will be an option to make the CD bootable after you change it to ISO9660 (in EasyCD its under the CD properties you get when you right click on the cd drive). You will then be prompted to insert a bootable floppy disc, so insert a bootable floppy disc, with all the drivers you want. The burner should then create 2 extra files for the CD, boot.img and something else if i remember.

Then burn the CD as normal, and you'll have a bootable CD which will drop you to the command line as if you had booted off the floppy disc you inserted.

did you mention that the BIOS has to be told to seek for a bootable CD??
