Problems with Geforce 2 GTS HELP!!!! ME!!!!

Hi, i have a :

p3 550mhz, 256ram, 19" monitor etc etc.

I got my Geforce 2 GTS, and bring up net_graph 7 i saw Nice fps on 100, then when i go into action they drop to 60 even 30. There must be something wrong there surly!. It anit on the same IRQ as anything else, i have the latest detinator Drivers. Its a Creative Geforce 2 GTS DDR 32mb. Anyone know what is wrong ?. I run in 1024 res on OpenGL.

reduce res? i have a geforce2 gts 64 meg and mine drops to 30 sometimes, although for a very short time, but not bothered really as long as it looks nice, the human eye can only register at 60 fps anyways so it dont really matter
