Anime on DVD

Can anyone recommend one? I'm not that familiar with the genre but I've heard 'Ghost in the Shell' is pretty good and I think 'Ninja Scroll' is going to be released on DVD sometime soon. That looks pretty nice.

Any ideas or suggestions?
