Thx for the help :(. I went and got one neway, And too be honest this is the best £130 I have spent ina long while on an upgrade. I hate too think how fast a GTS is , cos the speed on this little thing is very impressive. The only things i need to know are are there any driver upgrades or anything for the card i cant see any on the Hercules site. Any ideas would be appreciated . I have tried installing the Det 6.18 drivers but once they are installed i cant get to the GFX options in the Display menu from Control Panel. I just get an error saying
An error occured while windows was working with the control panel file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DESK.CPL
I am running WinME. Hope somebody can help this time

The reason i need to get into advanced options is do i can change the FSAA on the card

Have you tried the latest Det 3 6.31 drivers? http://www.3dchipset.com

they work fine on my m8's GF GTS, dunno aboot MX, dont forget to uninstall the old drivers first, read the readme :)

oh and as for desk.cpl, errr, i dunno, anyone else know?

yeah erm... for the desk.cpl- my uncle had that prob. just make sure u install the drivers like this-
1. Remove the 3d prophet ii from device manager
2. Change it to standard vga. (i think)
3. Then unzip drivers or if from cd, point to correct folder.
4. DONE

Try that, oh btw m8, wot r ur pc specs, coz i'm thinkin about buying an MX and i have a be6-ii as well. Do u have power probs???
i have a piii 600e , 1 HD, 1 CD ROM, 1 zip, 1 gorb, and a fan to cool my voodoo2.

Lo p5 thx for the help, between you and the other post about the MX i have got the latest det drivers installed and its all going well so far :) My specs atm are:
P3 700
256Mb RAM
SB Live Value
Asus ISDN card
Hercules GeForce 2 MX
1 CD-ROM
1 HDD
300W Power supply

So that probaly doesnt help cos i ran a V5 5500 in it fine.
As for the card i would highly recommend it, great frame raes in the games i play apart from UT but thats just due to borked D3D drivers. I would highly recommend it too anyone on a budget and needs a boost to there performance. I hate too think how fast a GTS is :)
There is just one thing though my fps seem to max out at 90 whilst playin Q3, anyone got any ideas on that? Thx again those who helped .

hmm... yeah that helps a little, at least i know it works with the be6-ii. but i have a 250w PSU but i think i'll be alright since the MX uses about half the power of a GTS.
