Would appreciate suggestions for upgrading my current m/b, which only supports AGPx1 though it should support x2.
Currently i'm running a 600 athlon, 256ram, 20gb h/d.
I'm sticking with the 600 athlon for the moment, but will be looking to significantly upgrade that at some point as well.
Compatabilty with the GTS is a must, but i'm not bothered too much about overclocking.
So stabilty and performance are the key words, cost is not an issue.
What d'yer reckon :)

is that original slot A athlon? or new Socket A?

for socket A id totally recommend the Abit KT7. i dont know much about slot A but i believe the Abit (i think) KA7 is good.

HTH!

Scan (http://www.scan.co.uk/today.htm) have the board on special today at £109+vat, you got till 5.30pm to call'em but it'll probably come round again on special a week or so later :E

My 'pooter is built round the ABIT KT7 RAID and it's a fine, if somewhat awkward, piece of kit. I'd consider this or the ASUS A7V board. Both boards have an awfull lot of life left in them.

Thanks for the input guys, my old cpu was a slot A, i say was, cos it's all gone back to Evesham under warranty, and i'm going for a Chaintech 7AJA which means they've gotta change the cpu as well to a Socket A Thunderbird :)(yummy)
The 7AJA has a good stabilty record and version 686b is a clockers dreamboat.
Thanks again :D
