Never in a man
Well I think this saying needs to be re-worded to say ‘always in a man’ as I have spend hours during the last week re-installing operating system after operating system and trying to keep the system going on the next boot-up. After installing Win Me last week everything seemed fine but then I installed WP3. ‘Restart windows’ it said, so I did to be greeted with a blue screen saying ‘System Halted’. After a few reloads and failures I formatted and have spent three days re-installing software etc. to bring me back to where I was last week-end. Using my second machine, which also runs Win Me and WP3 without any problems, I notice that others in the community has had problems. I suppose its typical, after all this time, to have WP3 launched around the same time as Mr Gates releases his new system. Not giving one much time to make sure that Win Me works before we have to install WP3. O well lets hope that the problems with WP will be resolved soon and we can spend some winter evenings enjoying each others company on the community.
