Best finisher in my book is DDP's Diamond Cutter - for anyone who hasn't seen it it's a bit like Matt Hardy's Twist of Fate move but - like Austin's Stunner - DDP can put it on from almost any situation.

Favourite Tag Team move was Legion of Doom's Devastation Device. Anumal holds poor guy up on his shoulders and Hawk flying clotheslines him off Animal's shoulders and onto the mat - a big move that broke Henry Godwin's neck a few years back...

Lo-Down's finisher is pretty neat, nice to see a move that include's both members of a tag team. Wots-his name does a Suplex off the turnbuckle and then De-lo (no idea how to spell his name) does the splash/leg drop from another turnbuckle.

Undertaker's Last Ride is good too.

DiveBomb - I believe that was called the "Doomsday Device"...

Stonecold stunner is excellent, and Jeff Hardy's Swanton Bomb is good. The Last Ride is another good one.

The best finisher is probably the Pedigree SC Stunner or the Peoples Elbow.

Layeth the Mac Down!

It is really hard to pick isn't it?. The Stone Cold Stunner always get the adrenaline pumping, as does Goldbergs Jackhammer. Does anyone remember what The Ultimate Warrior's finishing move?

Divebomb
06-10-2000, 15:28
It was a running splash wasn't it?

Oh and Kidman's Shooting Star Press is a spectacular finisher too :)

Professor Cranky

Farooqs Dominator is cool, extremely painful but the best finiher has to be the Dudley Boys WHASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP! very amusing

Stone Cold Stunner, it's still one of the best moves in the WWF although the Rock Bottom is great as well. :)

Best finisher of any federation has to be the Van-Terminator but the pedigree is great in WWF. Stinkface and the worm are ridiculous.

Does no-one remember the days of Ric Flair in the WWF doing the old Figure-Four-Leg-Lock? Thought it may not be especially aesthetically pleasing it's cool cus u can break yer mates' legs with it at home <cackle> :)

Why the fuk is Kane and The undertaker not doing the tombstone anymore?? I do like the undertakers LAST RIDE but if only at Fully loaded he added the tombstone at the end.

Finishing moves hey!

Well since I started watching the WWF when I was 7-8 me and my mates used to have royal rumbles and wrestling matches, so i've experienced the pain of most these moves (except new ones such as Stone Cold stunner etc).

Ok the figure 4 leglock which was mainly used by Greg the hammer Valentine in the old days hurt but it was so easy to reverse.

The best move has goto be either the Sharpshooter, or a personal favourite of mine... Sgt Slaughters old Camel Clutch. The Camel clutch hurt so much because it not only half broke your back but, while you were in it you couldn't say submit, and your hands were stuck at the side, so there was no real way to indicate to your friends you were dying.

I left the sixth form this summer, but since i've been gone i've heard of 2 kids who broke their necks playing WWF. One was DDT'ed and the other piledrived.

Personally the most painful wrestling move i've had to experience was a dropkick that took the wind outta me and nearly broke my ribs.

PS. The Ultimate Warrior also had the trade mark Gorilla press slam that was also considered to be his finishing move.

My favorite has to be the Showstopper. All the excitement of a chokeslam, but the 'Show holds them up in the air longer:-).

I fink, THE bestest wrestling move of ALL time, (and you guys gotta agree with me on this one), IS TRISH STRATUS!!!!
OMG!!! Have you seen the state in her!!! They could kill any man! Deadly....:) Even her legs kill ya'...ooooooh... :naughty:

Wait a minute...These are wrestling moves isnt it? Well what do you want!? Trish MOVES doesnt she? eh? eh?

Veeb! I louv you man!

Isn't the Van-Terminator absolutely amazing?!?!?

OK - quite run down of my favourite moves (finisher or otherwise)

WWF:
Hardy Boys' Poetry in Motion (especially over the top rope)
Taz's Tazmission
Chris Benoit chaining up to 5 German suplexes into a pinning bridge (wow!)
Dudley Boys' 3D (especially through a table)
Lita's Tornado DDT (from second rope), Moonsault & Hurricanrana (i.e. everything she does)

WCW:
Billy Kidman's Shooting Star Press
Goldberg's Jackhammer
Chronic's High Times (OK, it's only a double choke slam, but the force they put behind it ouch!)
Buff Bagwell has got a cool move, but can't remember the name. Basically he hits a Stunner after flipping forward from the second rope - it rocks!

ECW (here we go):

Note for all those who have not seen ECW I will describe the moves

Balls Mahoney's "Nutcracker Suite"
Basically a Michinoku Driver. Pick up your opponent into a body slam position, then sit down driving their head into the mat (Rikishi does one). However, Balls can drop his from the second rope!

RVD's "Vandaminator"
Throws a steel chair at opponent - they catch it (fools), RVD then jump-spin kicks the chair into their face!

"Vanterminator"
Simply a springboard dropkicks a chair into his opponent's face. HOWEVER: His opponent is slumped in the corner, and RVD springboards from THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING - yes, he flies a full 20 feet.

"Five-Star Frog Splash"
Simply a frog splash (see D'Lo and Eddie Guererro), but his technique is fantastic...

C.W. Anderson's "Anderson Spinebuster"
Take The Rock's spinebuster, only then spin 180 degress with it and drive them into the mat in the direction they were running.

Chris Chetty's "Amytiville Horror"
Place opponent across shoulders, then spin them round by their neck, driving their back into the canvas as you sit down.

Chris Chetty & Nova's "Tidal Wave"
Both climb on the SAME turnbuckle (amazing balance) then jump. Nova hits a body splash, Chetty hits a leg drop.

To tell you the truth, most of the tag teams have got great finishers.

See ya!!
