Ok. What game best captures the heart and soul of Anime for everyone???
For me.....I bought a Dreamcast due to the look of Shenmue. It looks like taking part in your own piece of videogame history and the closest I'll ever get to Tokyo and kicking ass in an Anime environment.
Any more suggestions. :E

If youz guyz did not see a previous post of mine but love Manga and the likes please check out the link below. The books distributed from Dreamwave a part of Image comics are incredible. Trust me. :E

I know its not out just yet but Oni is gonna own Shenmue in the Anime stakes. Cyberbabe kicks asse Ghost in the Shell style, wicked :D - Out Oct/Nov PS2/PC/Mac.

FFVIII and FFVII are bloody good, the Ghost in the Shell PSX game is quite good as well (its got about 20 mins worth of animation, I could buy it just for that - who said I'm a GITS fanatic heh heh).

Well its Shenmue thatmade me buy DC so I'll be happy if its any good.
As sad as this is to admit I.E. knowing the script to GITS and owning the comic run etc.......I never bought the PS game. I have now found out it was quite good but the little bugger is gathering dust in a cupboard at the moment.
Is it time to unpack the trusty PS.

Final Fantasy Games are good examples actually and I forgot about them little blitters. The bad side for me as with any adventure game though was once it was completed.....could I go back. Could I hell. :E Downer.

You always remember your first time.

I thought Rival Schools was pretty good at making you feel like it was an anime. Especially if you watch the opening scene, it rockz! (the jap one did anyway, what with that ace soundtrack)

The next ones a bit iffy, but guys I thought Vagrant Story captured a bit of anime style (set pieces, and character cool) but the graphics were a bit too medieval.

Ah, Dreamwave. I've got Warlands Choronicles 1 and 2 so far :)
