Your correct BombBomb,

I regularly post stuff on the CounterStrike forum, and one of the main things is knowing when to edit other ppl's posts and when posts need to be closed. It's a fine line between letting ppl have their say and knowing when they have gone too far.

Can't really see those sort of probs on this forum though, everyone who posts on this forum pretty much know that every now and then, ppl will come and try and start a flame war, but looking at the couple that have tried, the response by everyone here has been good, so they may decide that this forum doesn't even require a Mod.

Still, I'll ask one of the mods in the CS forum and I'll post back here once I get an answer. They may let more than 1 person mod if we ask nicely :)

It was generally saying how you only voted 4 Parasite 'cos he did that long speech, blah, blah, blah, and he fooled you all. It isn't all about being a good leader you know. You also have 2 know a bit about the subject, that kind of thing. But, if you wanna vote 4 parasite, tis your choice. I'm here if Gameplay want me 2 do them a favour 2 do the job, and I think I've earned enough respect in the N64 + Gamecube, Pokémon, NFF and hopefully now this forum, 2 take on the job. But that's all up 2 Gameplay.......

The peeps in the Social and Girl Gamers forum seem to think that I would be a really good moderator for this forum (followed by :bomb::bomb: in second place) so I might as well throw my burning lump of wood covered in nails into the ring and join the brutal fight to win the moderators belt or saaaing :D

Here are the good and bad points about meh getting this job:

Good points: I have been a responsible member of the wireplay forums for 2 years (and more recently, an irrisponsible one for 6 months :D ), I have a pet Hamster who will automatically kill any flamers or people who look at me funny, I have been watching wrestling for about 8 years, I am a fairly intelligent and articulate person who is good with dealing with arguments and flames should any arise, I am pretty popular in all of the forums I visit and I erm.... can't think of much else to recommend me.... ;(
Oh yeah, I have a good sense of humour and erm....I'll give money to anyone who nominates me for this job :E

bad points: I am fairly busy so I will not be able to check this forum every day at the moment, I only have terrestrial TV so I only get to watch WWF Heat (so I won't be able to keep up on the latest news as much as some of the other forum members), I know little about the WCW due to the fact that I haven't watched it much for several years, I have a pet Hamster who will automatically kill any flamers or people who look at me funny and I have only actually posted 2 or 3 posts in the Wrestling forum (although I have been observing most threads).

It's nice to see ppl are interested in who should be Mods for this forum.

As I mentioned b4, i'm trying to find out the details of how ppl can become a mod. The powers that be may decide that this forum doesn't need someone to cover it. I've been checking this forum since day 1 and no-one has flamed anyone, which is surprsing from wot I've been told my some mods. When I get the details (if any), I'll let you all know, so those of you who want to apply for it can do so.

I'll admit that I would'nt say no if the chance came up, but to be fair to the rest of you, i would let you all know first.

I've been a wrestling fan for most of my life (about 20 odd years now), it's just that I've never really had the opportunity until recently to be able to follow it again on a regular basis.

I've been looking elsewhere on the forums and I've found out that the Mods are well aware that the wrestling forum is still without a Mod.

Best bet is to probably wait for one of them to approach someone. I'm sure they'll be contacting someone when they are ready to make a decision on who would be suitable for the position. Heck, they may already have someone suitable, they just haven't told any of us yet.

*note to Mods* No flying chairs yet :P We are nice sensible ppl here.... we just like a bit of violence now and then with the odd ladder and chair match (whack!!) :dead:
