Is this a good idea?

I am having a few problems with WP3. So I browsed through the forum to see if it is a known issue and what the latest is on it.
However, I find numerous issues with WP3 mentioned, some seemed to be fixed, others not. I also find comments like 'WP3's major problem is being worked on'.

So, understandably, I'm confused. What are the current problems, and what are the symptoms?

Well. It would be really useful if a post headed 'WP3 Issues' was setup by the administrator ( to stay at the top of the forum ) detailing all the know problems and associated symptoms, what currently is being done about them and an approx ETA for fixing.

This will ensure users will only have one place to look.
If their problem is not there, they can then post a new thread detailing it.

What do you think guys?

I think id rather have them working mostly on the actual client than collating data that is already there.

It only takes a few minutes to read over the forum posts.

It really doesnt matter to one person what EVERY single problem is with wireplay its more of a what doesnt work on Your setup. The reason i say this is that my setup will be significantly different from yours and so a problem i have with a known soloution may or may not work for you. So to have a "general" list isnt practical.

But your idea was a good one..shame it wasnt that easy :)

Though I have to say that you took the words right out of my mouth. However Lionheart your idea is a good one and time allowing there could be a solution that benefit every one.

Your suggestion has been noted here at Wireplay and thank you for your comments. Terra is right. Many of the issues that we deal with are machine/setup specific.

I was not trying to suggest that all problems are WP3, they're not, as you quite rightly point out.
Only that a list of 'issues' ( current and past with possible solutions ) be placed in one locale.

That may save on the same questions be asked time and again.

This list would be appreciated as we can find out whats been addressed so we know when to look for any improvements,and also what has already been reported. I used to read all the posts but as the forums are so slow I find it too tedious to do so anymore. As one of the games that will be fixed "WHEN IT IS FIXED" this would be useful. So we know when to start testing again.
