I normally buy my R1 DVDs from express.com but I have noticed that Play 247 a slightly cheeper. Does anyone know if Play 247 deliver free to Ireland and where are they based? It normally takes about a 1 - 2 weeks for me to receive my DVDs from express, how long does Play take?

Oh yeah, by the way I can't seem to find anything about the new versions of The Killer or Hard Boiled DVDs at Play 247. Does anyone have any info?

Play discs take about 3-5 working days & shipping is free to anywhere in Europe.

Cool, but what about Hard Boiled, is it true that they dont carry box sets?

Well they have always kept their prices below 18 quid to avoid customs sniffing round the packages. Although the one exception to this is the Toy Story Ultimate Box set which is 45 quid!!

This policy can sometimes unearth a bargain though e.g. the Hellraiser/Hellraiser II set which I have just had delivered for the aforementioned 18 quid. :D

Sorry dunno about Hard Boiled, is it about cooking eggs? LOL. Try hunting round http://www.Amazon.com they may have some info and none of their stuff gets hit by the C&E so order as much as you like. :)

Have fun.

Bap.

I found it at amazon for $20.99, the exact same as express.com, what are amazons shipping charges?

Amazon's shipping charges are pretty hefty - $6.95 pershipment + $1.95 per item. I only use them when I want to order a few items at once.

Try http://www.dvdboxoffice.com or http://www.dv-depot.com for cheaper shipping on one item. Indeed DVDBO shipping is free. In fact if Express.com's shipping is cheaper get it from there, it should sneak past customs OK.

I emailed play247 and asked when Hard Boiled would be in stock, but they didnt have a clue and said to check back soon.

If you're shopping for R1 prices, check out http://www.dvdpricesearch.com/

Personally, I can vouch for DVDBoxoffice, DV-Depot and DVD Empire, as I've ordered stuff from these three and all have arrived in about 1-2 weeks.
