Yeah the maps sound alright, shame there is no assualt, hope we get to play dust, its a top map. Sounds like its going to be a top LAN, a great event for our clan SOA (soldiers of the apoclapyse) to make our debut hehe should be interesting we aint even played any games together yet. hehe oh well should be a laff

Oh Why, Oh Why, is it cs_italy...
It sucks, it's such a god awful level. I also agree with pyro, assualt is a good map...

The only problem I can see is the factor that some of these maps are inherently better for T's or CT's. I don't know what the format of the games is gonna be, but I hope you are gonna be able to play half the time as one, and half the time as the other. It will even out the games making it the winning team will be the best team.

assault is pretty good though and it is a classic map so i think we should hav that :{

c-monkey, acid is on about smashing paul, as the little animated character at the bottom is of a little man bashing a little white jumpin thing (Whatever the hell that is), paul is one of the lan arena guys, check the hello message on the forum for the lan arena guys little character cartoons.

I can't stand italy as a map as it just has no specific cover, in all tactical situations in real life, there is always cover available, making better gun fights...

I don't quite understand your comment about not being allowed to play CounterStrike over 17, can't I enjoy playing it at 20, some guys in my clan are mid-thirties.

The only question I have for you C-Monkey, is how are you gonna get to the lan arena when you are 14, are you gonna cycle on your bike, or has your mum let you take the bus?

I think that all the maps present a good balanced choice, except estate which is horribly unbalanced and is no way as good as mansion.

And on another note, will you all be turning up in matching T-shirts with a logo? or some kind of suits or summink? and how the hell do I turn on hypertext in my sig?

The maps chosen are excellent for the varied strategies each required the teams to adopt. Can never please all of ya but the day will be excellent and if I remember the UT tournament the best part of it is meeting all the ppl you play against online. Thats what LA is all about. Then kicking their ass. (Unless you're the Zulu puffs who I've heard are crap!).

You will be playing 15mins T and then swopping playing 15mins CT for each war. The finals will be at least 20 mins per half. All will have a time limit on of 4 mins each round.

Come on people just chill. The maps are fine, you should all be able to play any map anyway. As for the t-shirts etc, we will be turning up in something a little different? Looking forward to meeting fellow CS players from everywhere. The monks will bring peace and faith to the day, travel well my friends and travel safe, the monks will watch over you!!
