I loaded up WP3 fives min ago.

Splash screen. Browser.

New version! it says. So I got it, thinking, no big deal, only a few mins to d/l. Then I install it, and run it. And it comes up with the splash, then back to the d/l page.

I can only assume it prompted me to download the same version I have, because the prog is obviously the same version (I fink). So, it must be something on your servers which checks the client versions.

So, someone pressed a wrong button, or haven't you finished doing it all up for the next minor release? :) I know it takes time to upload it and set your servers to shove peeps off to get the right version an all :)

I gather your using a desk top short cut or clicking the wrong button.
the new version has an .exe file called WIREPLAY not WIREPLAY3 as before.

right click the link and "save target as"

then save it to your desktop..works ok that way.

Bad-Co is right, I assumed when I installed it'd go over the old installation, but I didn't realise cos I've got a l33t shortcut in my nicely organised desktop folder called 'Internet'. So I didn't realise there was a different/new shortcut till today :(

My shambles. Though I still can't see why it made a new installation :|
