Can't connect to WP Elite Force servers

Trying to connect to the servers using the new WP3 software but it doesn't work.

It shows my holomatcher number, so I know my key has been authenticated.

It just sticks at awaiting connection, or whatever it says, with the timer counting ever upwards.

I don't know if this is relevant, but when I click on the "3d Shooter" part of the tree in the WP3 window, it doesn't show Elite Force in the right-hand pane.

The bit where it shows all the games, how many players, spare slots and servers there are, EF doesn't show...

The content has been fixed (summaries etc).

As for Elite force, i assume you mean it just hangs on 'Awaiting challenge (number)' with the number increasing. What happens when it timesout, does it give a reason ?

The message is "awaiting gamestate", I don't know what the timeout message was, cos I couldn't be arsed waiting and just tapped the escape key when it got to about 16. :)

However...

As you say, the summary window is showing Elite Force now, and I just successfully joined a WP server.
So it seems fine now.

Only thing is, I joined an empty server just to see if it was working, and I got in, but it just stayed at the "intermission" screen, with me on the central plinth.

I expected to be able to run around the map on my own?

Or do you need at least two players?
