Stone Cold: Where does he go from here?

After a year off through injuries, my fav grappler Stone Cold Steve Austin has returned. At the minute he is handing out Stunners left, right and centre in an attempt to find out who knocked him over, but how long can this angle last. I wish they would just tell us who did it and let him get on with becoming the champ again.

I was surfing the net last night checking out loads of different wrestling sites, and a few of them point out that we may find out sometime in the next week or so who the driver was. Looks like we may have an exposive PPV in a few weeks time (keep forgetting what it's called).

Don't forget that the driver is blonde, so this points only to a few ppl, like the HBK. Personally, i think the WWF are using it as a red herring, and it will turn out to be a wig. Though knowing my luck, i'll be wrong yet again :)

The web sites especially seem fond of pointing out that Foley has done special filming for Heat this weekend.

Our wish to see whodunnit may come true sooner rather then later!!!

Good point about the upcoming ppv, I beleive No Mercy is the next one scheduled, it would be a great excuse for them to unmask the perpetrator and get a cracking headline bout.
I did hear that it was B.A. Billy Gunn (who as you will know is also just returning after injury) who did it and it would certainly be a good storyline which could move him to the next level (possible title shot against the Rock) and would give Stone Cold a new nemesis aside from Vince and HHH.

I think Stone Cold should stop Stunning everybody and I can't see it getting him anywhere although its good to see some people get stunned.:)

Here's my predicition:

Austin's lack of respect for Foley will turn him heel, he will find out at No Mercy that The Rock ran him over, and he will cost The Rock the title, therefore Kurt Angle being the new champion.

It would make sense to turn Austin heel because, with HHH's face turn coming up soon, the WWF need a main-event heel (Kane, Benoit and Angle aren't up to the job)

Yeah well, Stone cold has stunnered everyone. Even Mick Foley. I don't know what it's doing for him. I think we'll find out whodunnit at No Mercy. Mainly 'cause No Mercy is on my Birthday. And also it'll look good.

I think the driver of the car was Chris Jericho, if you think back a short time ago he was getting a big push in the WWF with a last man standing match against Triple H, then a 2 out of three falls match with Benoit, and he was on the fringes of the WWF title scene, but recently the WWF seem to have moved him back from this and put him in a feud with X-Pac a mid-carder at best. I think the reason for this is because he ran over Austin and this will turn him heel which I think suits him more anyway. Of course this is just my opinion and I could be wrong:skull:

I also believe that the culprit will be found out at 'No Mercy'. As I've said be4 I think Shaun Michaels did it (and I'll be glad 2, as I don't like Austin and Michaels is my fave all time wrestler. So it works out well). I also believe B.A. Billy Gun is a good suggestion. He's just come back from an injury and made his return on Smackdown, so he's a pretty good candidate 2. As 4 Austin, I would like 2 C him out of the WWF. Many ppl I know will disagree with me on this, but I find him, what's the word.........

I think most people here would think that Stone Cold is a good guy. We should find out whodunnit at No Mercy or sooner. Stone Cold's antics will get boring after then.

I just read on http://www.wrestleline.com, that Mick Foley will announce who the driver was on Raw and then Stonecold will face them at No Mercy.
I originally thought it would be Mick Foley, but i read that he didn't want to be the culprit but would be part of the storyline.
I can't think of any wrestlers who might return to be the driver, blonde hair? Shaun Michaels???

btw i can't see how WWF could turn Stonecold heel cause whatever he does ppl cheer for him. If anyone else Stunnered Mick Foley they would be booed.

To turn Austin heel, they need him to feud with The Rock, in a way so that The Rock comes across as still being a face. Remember how they turned DX heel? And don't forget that when The Rock was heel he was still over with the fans.

I think you are missing the point.... Austin is neither a heel or a baby face, and that is why people like him. He does what he wants, to who he wants. I do agree that h should stop stunning people and get on with winning the title, but I reckon that the Rock will drop it to Angle without Stone Cold's interference.
Y2D makes a good point, Shaun Michaels recently stated in an interview on WWF.com that he has started wrestling again and that when he felt up to it, he wouldn't mind competing again in the WWF. What better way to come back than in a match against Austin at No Mercy?

I think they will announce it RAW as Rikishi said, when the person is announced it will develope into a great storyline. And I think it's good when he gives everybody the stunner, but sometimes it gets annoying.
