Seating and Cheating

First question is that about seating, are the teams gonna sit together, as someone dies, and then flys around can give you all the positions of the enemy team, rather unfair and ridiculous!!!

The other question is about whether we can bring custom spray logo's or our key configs, as this would be good but it would enable people to bring in cheat scripts.

Also the idea about putting up hyperlinks to peoples websites on the registered teams for research purposes is a good idea. JRDF webpage is http://connect.to/JRDF
Our clan has already done quite abit of Research on the competition through CLQ.

Well.... Have u ever Heard of chase cam??? obviously not! Chase cam locks u on to your surving team m8s so u can "fly" around and cheat.... and no i dont think peeps will bring there own sprays in... cus it will take time to get them sorted out.. and there could be virus'sm on the floppys :) (hahahaha i'd like to see that!) so there wont be any scripts running...
But ask Dom he will explain all abouts it.. So dont wet ya self :)

Chase cam is on, NO floppies can be used, your team IS sitting next to each other and you WILL have a good time.

Acid, I know what Chase cam is that's why I asked the damn question, I'm used to playing online, so when I flying around, I can't talk to those people who are alive and help, I was just askin mate, no need to get stressed about it...

The research will get me into some trouble with the comments I made on other teams.

I agree CLQ is pretty ****, the only part that you can take reference from is the Kills/Min the rest of the info is useless, also it's difficult to know with a massive clan which guys are playing, so you have to just take a look at a load of them.

And Files, I think when Dom says "Chase Camera" he means locked chase camera, so you can only see what someone else on your team can see.

The reason I did the research wasn't cos I thought I was any good and wanted to win, it's that I just wanna see who is gonna kick our arses first.

so, just to clarify things yet again for you all,

Force chase cam is set on, so you can only view YOUR players not the opponents.

Your team will be sitting next to each other so no RW software will be required. Each competing team will be in different parts of the arena, just to make sure no cheating can happen.

Yes - it means that if there are connection problems and a player or team is lost from the server then those players may be disqualified (or "booted out", "BFH", "yoooouuuuurrrr'eee outa here".)

This is entirely at the discretion of the cheif admin on the day. (Likely to be Vik). Other more likely outcomes are a restart etc if the pc crashes / heart attack etc. Whatever happens you will all be told in writing on the day what outcomes may happen and the one thing I can guarantee from Vik is that he WILL be consistent.
