It wont work for me :(

Wireplay 3 worked for the first couple of days I had it but since then it has refused to, no matter how many times I reinstall, redownload etc.... :(

The problem is that when I start up the Wireplay 3 Software it asks me what connection I want to dial even though I am already connected. I click cancel and it tells me that it can't connect to Wirelplay, it leaves the wireplay logo in the taskbar but it wont actually run. If when I have selected a connection I still get told I can't connect.

I've tried using a variety of ISP's inc WP Direct, but still no joy.

Any help would appreciated :)

I have an idea what may be yor problem. If you right click on your explorer icon on your desk top you will be faced with a series of options.

Select the 'Connections' tab. Here you will be able to select your connection type. make sure 'Dial whenever a network connection is not present'.

What is happening is that the IE dialer is constantly looking for a connection state.

I reacon you habe 'Always Dial my default connection selected.

cheers for the reply, I've managed to get it working but in a slightly diffrent way.

I tried what you said, but that all came to a halt the moment you said to right click on the explorer icon, there wasn't the option for a connection like you said, but that's probably because I'm still using IE 4.0. Me? Lazy? nah :rolleyes:

What I actually did was right click on the wireplay logo in my task bar and then I selected Internet connection - change default and then I selected dial up default connection and it seems to have sorted it out. Provding I'm on the default connection that is though, otherwise I have to change my default connection in Internet options to whatever I'm on for wp3 to work.
