With WP3 Flight Simulator 2000 worked - just but now with rev1 nothing at all. Whats happening.

When did you last try it. What exactly happened. We have been experiencing some problems with the back end servers but this does not sound like this is one of those problems.

Give us the extra info and we may be able to give you some extra idea's.

I hosted our usual Saturday afternoon flight and when I clicked on start game it came up on the machines of the three of us that it could not find the game and go to setup. We did that and was greeted with the information that there was a patch from Microsoft to download. We have all already done that while playing on WP2. So after a few more tries we gave up and played directly from my machine. Incidently you are showing the patch on your server which is only for the standard version. There is another patch for the professional version which most players seem to use.

Incidently this happened with all three dial-ups I use including WP Direct.

I hope you can help as we do enjoy our flying on WP.

Thank you very much for your mail. I had not realized that we were experiencing problems with p2p Flight Sim. Will look into it immediately.

I will contact Skunk with regard to getting the Pro patch put on file monster.

Thanks for your reply. We know that you are having problems with the servers for the major games but we hope to increase the interest in FS2K on WP as soon as we can rely on a good p2p connection. There are other people that use sites like MSN zone that would move to WP if they could be sure of a stable connection.

Hi mate. Spent a good proportion of yesterday looking at the problem and I think that I have found the solution. I have now got it working here in the labs. It is now being tested.

Hopefully you will be able to play your favourite game on Wireplay again. May I take this opportunity to apologies for the disruption of your play.

Just thought I would let you know that I have just tried to create a game in FS2K and had a 'invalid response from server' message and thats as far as it goes.
