goody nice new problem

ok so after re-installing HL and WP,WP does not seem to be able to find HL on my comp http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif-u know when u do search games-i ahve added manually ut this has no affect,it is a fully up to date version but all i get when i try and access the HL server off the notice board is a box with a lil cross in the top and no message-any ideas out there in the collective
