WP3 & Cable Modems

Hi,

Is WP3 compatible with cable modems.If it is could somebody plz tell me how to set it up so i can get on the
open & powerplay servers.

Yo Midnight,

Thank you for your post. Wireplay 3 and the dialer are compatible with almost all digital line connections. However unless you dial to Wireplay direct or BT Click or BT Free then you will not be able to access the powerplay servers only the open play ones.

Make sure that when you dial you select the bottom connection option ADSL and other. This is very important as it listens in a different way.

I have NTL cable and have been using open play servers for a week or so. But since yesterday i have been unable to get into the open servers, just keeps retrying server addy (Counterstrike servers this is). I can get into the Champions server but not the normal open play ones, tis strange.

This is a problem and a half but seems to be more or a routing problem from NTL if you are able to launch the client.

I will ask network guys if they have any idaes but I think they will say the same.

Hope to get back with some good news.
