best race of the season?...er....it was won thru pitstops. there were two good laps put in by michael to make sure he was still ahead, but i don't remember seeing them. It was good when they got going, but when I think back to things like schumacher v hill in 94 (for example) that was soo much more exciting as a championship duel. the two of them neck and neck round the streets.

I saw today's race as a normal kind of f1 race. The only over taking move of the leading pair was done waaay off the racing line / on different tarmac completely. Yeah, okay, the other people on the grid were overtaking each other and stuff, but it would have been nice of the leading pair were doing it too.

having said that, it was good for michael to win. I'm happy for him, infact. was funny watching him beat up his 20000 quid steering wheel in delight.

i have to agree with pob0000, it was not realy an exiting race throught the race, more as to see if mika and michael would catch each other, but tbh as soon as the rain wame it was clear that unless a mechanical failure occured schumacher would win.
despite the fact that he was not the one i was supporting, well done, and a good season, he deserves it after all these years of rebuilding ferrari. id also like to say well done to the way that Mika took it, he was clearly upset - natuaraly, but he didnt want to take the enjoyment from "the michael"

Funny that, isn't it. Damon was with them for 2 years and suddenly they became a force to be reckoned with. As soon as he leaves, they fall back down the runnings.

Damon was superb at getting a car setup - look at what he did at Williams for Mansell, then for himself.

Jordan seemed pretty good in '97 (if Ralf and Fissy didn't knock each other off) and wasn't last year their highest placed finish in the constructors championship? Or maybe that was '98.

Anyway, what I want to know is when are Ferrari and Schumi going to thank the FIA and Bernie Ecclestone for their help in making this year a success? lol :E :shakin: :laugh:
