error loading initial page

Ok, downloaded it, now all i get is a small icon in my start tray, and after a few minutes the msg 'error loading initial page'
and thats it!

wp2 works fine.

any ideas???

Ive given up today.Ive tried to get WP3 to accept my WP2 user name / password ive tried to get it to register a new username password but it just hangs "loading page".I also get the same message as you 'error loading initial page' and nothing else.the only idea i have is its fooked like the forums are most times but still thats another story....

so true" WP2 as been and always will be my friend" hehe no ive never had a minutes bother with it its always worked and done all i have asked of it.Im still using it today and it works brill. WP3 however well it might be fixed one day but it needs to be withdrawn tested and fixed because even basic login on and registration dont work let alone getting near a server or game

Thank you both for you constructive comments. We are trying the best that we can with the resources we have avalible. We are experiencing very complex problems with Wireplay 3 but we know what they are. We are already working 24/7 to get it A1 for you guys.

Please have patience. If you get error messages like this happening again do not hesitate to try and a couple of minute. the server maybe re-starting of something.

I'm tried connecting using wireplay direct, and btinternet.

Both had the same problem. Also I tried wp2, on both connections, which worked fine.

I had previously installed the wp3 beta, which also gave me the error. This was explained as server problems at the time. I uninstalled it straight way. (i.e. long before trying WP3 full version).

Er.... any more info needed?

hi bud try this to see where the prob lies

while conected of course:)

goto start programs
dos prompt
Type : tracert <followed by wireplays server name>

watch what comes up and any errors or problems then post em here and ill try and explain.

But by the sounds of it its the server resets that are being performed...THAT WE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT BTW ;), Mr Zacb.
