...on Aerie and i didnt realise wha tit was..so i just hung around waiting for the effect to waear off after the battle..only to realise that her tiny brains were being eaten out or soemthing. And now im finding that having a mage with intelligence 3 isnt very good. i cast dispel magic on her to get her moving again..but now her intel is set a 3 and wont budge, and beleive me ive spent thousands on hiring a huge swarm of priests to try and cure her. ARRGHGHHHH..... and i was so happy having an all in one priest-mage as well. BAH. HELP ME U SCUMBAGS!!!

The same thing happened to me with Keldorn. Whilst this isn't quite as bad as with Aerie, it does mean he can't wear his own armour or wield the Hallowed Redeemer.

the lvl 7 priest spell, greater restoration removes effects suchs as feeblemind.

Is that right? I wasn't sure because normally when one of your stats has been affected by magical means it's red, but Keldorn's intel score is white. Still, the manual says it works, so I'll give it a try. Cheers.

Tried Greater Restoration on Keldorn, and it didn't work. Funny though, I didn't actually notice the lack of intel until after level-up. A bug, perhaps?

oh ho ho! what smarty pants! greater restoration yeah..sure... so i guess the "i hired hordes of priests" passed u by eh?.... thing is its fine and dandy for removing the feeblemind effect but unfortunately your intelligence is still stuck at 3 or whatever despite the effect being dispelled...comprendez?..dont care anyway cos ive left Aerie in spellhold :D

perhaps if u had taken a few naps after casting greater restoration u would have found your stats returned to normal :E

According to my trusty AD&D 2E player's manual, the effects of Feeblemind can be removed by wish or heal. Under the description of the restoration spell, however, it says this can also counter the effects. I would say Aerie's intelligence remaining at 3 is almost certainly a bug, and you should feel free to restore it to 17 using a hack of some kind, if you can find one that works. Alternatively you'll just have to report the bug and wait for a patch.

Well, she's pretty traumatised so I expect it's just the place for her... they might even manage to cure her stutter :)

Oh, and the first cutscene in chapter 4 made me really, really angry at being so powerless... I had a traitor in my party, though I admit I was slightly suspicious of that person from the start. Any game that can stir me up to such an extent must be absolutely brilliant :)
