Isn't the web a wonderful thing?

I was just having a browse when I came across a copy of Warren Ellis' banned Hellblazer issue 'Shoot'.

Not the best resolution image but at least I can now read it and find out what all the fuss was about.

:)

Sorry about the delay in replying. Unfortunately I work away during the week so I am internet-less :(

Anyway, I found it at http://www.compsoc.man.ac.uk/~jp/comics/shoot/index.html and it's still up as I write.

The image needs a little sharpening but it's better than nothing I guess.

Well have I got some news for Hellblazer fans and this is straight up by the way.

I have a good friend who runs a comic store and seems to know so many people in the business its unreal!!!

Right, the book was written by Warren Ellis about guns in US schools, touchy subject. The book was drawn by damn cool artist Phil Jiminez but was rejected by DC....I'm getting to the point as you all probably know the background.

Said Comic book store owner is M8's with Warren Ellis (who left Hellblazer over this) and asked about buying the artwork. Warren contacted Phil, who sold pages 15 -22 to Gaz (comic store guy) who is now selling on these pages....freaky thing is he only decided this 2 days ago and then I saw this post....just weird.

If anyone is an origonal art collector the pages are amasing (He's keeping page 16 himself mind you) and seriously sought after. We are placing them up on Ebay this weekend or if anyone is interested on here then please reply before Friday.

Cheers Guys.
