For all round everyday driveability and praticality it has to be the:

Nissan Skyline GTR

I drove one once (racing an old 911 Targa down the A3 in Surrey) and it just wouldn't let me stack the thing. My kind of car that will drive you home when you tired and will give you some fun when you're not.

For the weekends:

Either a Caterham or a 550 Maranello.

But saying that I'm quite partial to that new Maserati for everyday use too...

Hmmmm.

Maybe I'll buy both.

The car that I want to have is the Batmobile from the first movie.

Since I don't think I can ever get my hands on that car, I'll have to settle for Audi's new concept based on the TT which may go into limited production.

For those who haven't seen it, it's a lower, stretched version of the TT. The body work is entirely brushed aluminium and has no rear window, just ribbed metal and a couple of rear facing cameras in place of the rear view mirror.

The engine is mid-mounted, and what an engine it is: 8litre W16. It's basically, two 4 litre V8's strapped together and is reputed to be pushing out over 600bhp (normally aspirated - no forced induction). Bently used this engine in a concept of theirs recently, but it was only producing 350bhp at the time. The car was heavier than Audi's and it's 0-60 time was 4.0 seconds. I can only imagine what this monster is capable of...

Roumered to cost a cool £250,000 if they make them. Oh yeah, one more thing - it looks a little like the batmobile!

Aston Martin Vantage 800 BHP. None of that ponsy tarted up souped up DB7 Vantage, i mean the real Vantage which has to be one of the greates cars i've ever touched (British Motorshow, Birmingham NEC, 1998, thankyou and goodnight)!!
Other than that i'd have to say the Mercedes Benz CLK GTR for practicality!!! (You know the gullwing thing that took off at Le Mans in 1999!) Only £1,000,000!! BARGAIN, i'll steal 2!!!

The Class B car which was built to beat the Quattor and Lancia Delta Integrale, cos if it's the car i think you mean it was well mad!!!
It was on Clarksons programme a few months back me thinks!

get a caterham with a crossflow engine...get about 140hp out of it, make sure its got nice bits in it. take off roof. take off doors. take off windscreen. more than 140hp is very quick but, erm, heh you need to learn first of all. get that, with 13 inch wheels, not mega sticky tires as they're too sticky, and go for a drive. you can get more power, better engines, whatever, but its a nice starting point.
