It took me 3 hours to download AA and WP2.3 and get it all up and running and I spent 20 hours playing.

Then along comes WP3.0. (Smaller, faster, better?)

It took 6 hours to get it down loaded and configured (after seeing every error listed in the postings below at least 5 times and being totally unable to move my WP2.3 user names etc.) I eventually managed to get a grand total of 15 minutes online, connected through my ISP not WPD, before loosing the information from AA. (A common problem in AA if you don't get the server to take you in the first 5-6 seconds)

I gave up for the day.

WP3.0_r1 =Don't even ask.

Hunted down WP2.3 again. Set up time 5 minutes and online in 2 more.

Fine and well until they shut it down in the near future.

Just a idea, and without trying to offend anyone involved but could WP3 go away until it actually does the job of the version it replaces.

Sorry if that's too much bitching and whining from a newbie but it's my phone bill thats suffering.

Sorry to here that you had so many problems setting up and installing Wireplay 3. What connection do you have and which ISP are you using. These bits on infornation are important for us as it helps pin point problems.

We will make it better.

Wireplay 3 will be the ultimate in on-line gaming.

Hi QA

FYI

Computer is AMD 550mhz, 128Meg, 19gb HD
56k modem (v90)
ISP is Freeserve
Phone line is Atlantic Telecom

Problems occured when trying to connect via WPD, WPI or online.

Hope you can get everything sorted ASAP as WP3 does look good. It just does not play well.

Hi,

As a note, Wireplay 3 has very little bearing on 'game quality'. The problems with AA are .. problems with AA.

We have moved over to an NT version of AA instead of the old Solaris, which is used by Wireplay 2.

Until a couple of days ago, the AA servers have far exceeded the performance of the Solaris counterpart, in terms of lag and stability.

Unfortunately, we have started experiencing problems which we are investigating. These problems started as soon as we added loads more AA servers configured for the different types of tournaments.

It took 6 hours to get it down loaded and configured

are you mental or something. When it takes 6 hours to download 900kb you would think there was a major problem and stop downloading.

anyways
GOZILLA DOES NOT WORK WHEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD WP3.

The amopnt of peeps that icqed me tonight saying "cant download the wp3 software" was incredible. Right click on the download and choose save target as please.

Hi,

Milo, have you checked that you are logging on with your account name + password. Alot of people from Wireplay 2.3 have created an account only to try to logon with their Nickname + password which is incorrect.
