Ok people,

The reason I have you in here is to talk about spoilers. These are people who intentionally (or unintentionally) give away results or story lines, before the relevant programme has been shown on British TV (Satellite). In the "Stone Cold, where does he go from here" thread, someone has given away who the driver of the car is. I'm not happy about that, as I wanted to find out by watchin RAW on Friday night.

If you are going to let people know what results/storylines are, could you start a new thread, with the word Spoiler written somewhere in the Title. That way people know that they should avoid that thread, so that the up and coming programmes at the weekend are not spoiled.

I'm all for talking about rumours and stuff, and I don't mind people letting on that something big is gonna happen on an up and coming programme, but I don't really want to know the results untill they have been shown over here.

Please let me know what you think as I believe that a sensible discussion about it now, will stop any future flame wars from spring up.

A well made point, Parasite, and it's something that I shall watch out for and edit posts if I think they give too much away without warning.

It may be a bit Draconian but I know for a fact spoilers DO spoil things for others.

There are a lot of sites that give us information and because of the delay (Monday shows broadcast on Fridays) it's a tricky subject...

I'll say soz again to Mac for my rant in the Austin thread. I did'nt mean to have a go at you.

How about a weekly thread is started for those ppl who follow the sites and would like to talk about those programmes before they are aired here. We can't really expect ppl to have to wait 5 days before they are allowed to talk about what happened on RAW that previous Monday. Maybe a title like this:

Spoilers Chat - Mon ??/?? to Sun ??/??

That way ppl who watch Sky know to stay away from that thread, and those who don't want to wait till the weekend can happily chat away without fear of being flamed or edited.

What do you think ppl?

I totally agree with warning over spoilers. I hate it when i record a PPV from the night before and then get told during the day who won.
