Worldcraft guides?

I have tried a number of times to start building H-L maps, mainly CS maps, but I really struggle to get started building the basics. Once I get the basics I will be away, I've built quite a few maps on other games.

Can anybody point me to any good Worldcraft sites, start guides, textures, etc., mainly for CS. Over even got a guide they use or used they could send me?

Check there for tutorials and help, plus links to other good resource sites like the Handy Vandal's Almanac.

Also, try http://www.mapcore.com in a week or so - it's down at the moment, but they're getting a new server soon, so it should be back up soon.
