Have you ever seen wrestling live?

Has anyone here been to see WWF or even WCW?

I've been to see WWF 3 times: One Night Only in Birmingham, Mayhem in Manchester and No Mercy (also in Manchester).

It was pretty good but in 3 events I only saw one title change hands, that of the European belt held by the British Bulldog who lost it to Shawn Michaels just before he turned heel and formed DX...

Still a top buzz seeing all the superstar entrances and stuff, though.

I saw wrestling at Butlins once.

I did see Big Daddy in the late 80's at my local town hall. Nothing special, did manage to get into the ring though and bounce off one of the ropes at the end of the night. Promptly told off by some bloke in charge :naughty: Did notice that the mat was padded very well though.

my m8 ben went AGES ago when bret heart was in the wwf and he was the biggest bret fan in the world and it was when bret came down and gave his glasses things away and my m8 got them !

I saw the British Bulldog in my town hall once a while back.I also saw a PPV live once ages ago but I can't remember the name of it.

I've not personally seen WWF live or met any wrestlers but my mate went years ago and touched Virgils head when he was going down to the ring, and more recently my dad and sister met HHH and the British Bulldog in an airport waiting for the same plane back to England.

Apparently HHH was showing off by running about with the bags, and the Bulldog was staring at my sister when they were sat down waiting (or so she says).

I've been 2 see the WWF twice in Sheffield. The 1st time was on 1991 I think, and the main match was Owen Heart Vs Bret Hart. The 2nd time was last November (nothing special, just a tour that they do every 3 years) and the main match was The Rock Vs Austin. I also got a DX t-shirt there :).
And I was hoping 2 go when they come in December but the tickets sold out in 1 1/2 hours. :bigcry:

First one was the best "One Night Only". The rest were just for lamers who like Steve Austin and get a kick out of seeing him stunner every other wrestler on the roster.

After the last event No Mercy, I gave up on WWF and turned to WCW. WWF is only now starting to appeal to me again.

i've been about five times.
wcw once @ bournemouth arena with sting,austin,pillman(rip)flair,regal,nasty boys,anderson+sid(both were actually missing as they had stabbed each other the day b4 in blackburn) and vader, who i have a picture of giving the most evil stare i've ever have ever seen.

also saw the wwf in bournemouth and also @ royal albert hall(twice) and the last one i saw was capital carnage at london arena.

nothing beats it seeing it live(as jr says) but it sure if funning watching it without the commentary.
